100% Acrylic Multi-Purpose Primer
Selz² is designed with difficult-to-paint surfaces in mind, it has excellent adhesion on both exterior and interior surfaces. Use as a primer for new surfaces as well as repaint. Excellent on exterior sash&trim as well as kitchen and bathroom walls and cabinets and trim through out the home. Equally suitable for schools, hospitals and public buildings needing a durable, high adhesion primer.
Colors:
White, can be tinted to light pastel colors. Can also be manufactured in any color at factory in minimum of 100 gallon batches.
Packaging:
Quarts, Gallons and 5 Gallon Pails.
Finish:
Flat.
Substrates:
Properly prepared wood, metal and masonry.
Drying Time:
To Touch - 1 Hour.
To Recoat - 4 to 6 Hours.
Coverage:
300-400 sq ft per gallon depending on surface texture and porosity of surface.
Surface Preperation:
All surfaces must be clean, dry and free of dust, loose paint and surface contaminants that may impair adhesion.
Application:
Airless or conventional spray, brush or roll.
Finish:
Reccommended Scotch Coatings finishes will vary depending on surface and desired finish. Check with your Scotch Coating Dealer for their expert recommendations.
Thinning:
Small amount of water if required.
Clean Up:
Soap and warm water clean up (a rinse with lacquer thinner or brush cleaner may be necessary).
V.O.C.:
The V.O.C. of this product does not exceed 100 grams per liter and meets SQAQMD RULE 1113.
